MASTER PHOTOGRAPHERS ASSOCIATION
I'm excited to share the latest news in my photography journey, which is...
I have joined the Master Photographers Association and have just attained Professional Certification!
There were a number of tasks involved to reach this stage involving providing all of the necessary documentation to prove that my business has the correct level of public liability and professional indemnity. My health and safety documents and risk assessment policies are in place and that the standard of my work is at professional level.
I am over the moon that I have made it through and attained this certification!
This also means that I can now progress through the hierarchy of qualifications within the association. This is no mean feat and I feel that the first level of accreditation will take me most of the remainder of 2023 before I am even in a position to submit it. At that point it will be judged by a panel of some of the best photographers in the UK and there is no guarantee that the first submission will get through. Fortunately I will have a mentor to guide me through this and am very much looking forward to the challenge.
I've got some ambitious plans for the rest of the year and would love to share the ups and downs with you so please subscribe to this blog and come along for the ride...
