Exploring the Heart of India Through Photography

One of the most amazing experiences of my life…to date

“March 2024: My wife and I sat in a cafe and talked about dreams over lunch. Nine months later I was solo travelling across India.
These are just some of the photos from that 3 week adventure.
Most of the time was spent walking the backstreets of the cities from dawn till dusk and into the night, talking to and photographing the local people of Delhi, Jaipur, Pushkar, Jodhpur and Udaipur…”

As I wandered through the streets and alleyways of the cities of Rajasthan I felt completely safe and somehow soothed by the chaos that was almost always present. Sharing a street with an elephant, a camel, cars, motorbikes, tuk-tuks and throngs of human beings amidst the constant cacophany or horns was not something I had every imagined as being relaxing…but somehow…it was, and when I returned home to the relative peace and quiet of Central Scotland, that intense, colourful ballet was something that I longed for, for many months after. It is unlike anything I have ever experienced before, and it was intoxicating!
